wet-bulb temperature
The temperature a parcel of air would have if it were brought to saturation at constant pressure by evaporating water into it. The wet-bulb temperature is used as a measure of water vapor content. The drier the air is, the more depressed will be the wet from the dry bulb temperature. Wet-bulb temperature is usually measured with a psychrometer.
